Incorporated in 1959 as United Malayan Banking Corporation Berhad (UMBC) before becoming independent Malaya's first commercial bank a year later, RHB Bank has grown to become the third-largest financial institution in Malaysia with total assets worth more than RM60 billion and shareholders' funds of RM3.7 billion.
